Today we studied about the Great Barrier Reef! We made a surf board to share our facts about the reef. Then we researched native Australian animals. We then sketched the animal and painted it as an aboriginal painting! Today was a fun day spent on the animal filled, surfer, continent Australia!

- Technology is amazing! After having taught 27 years, I can utilize this blog to collaborate with friends, parents, and teachers! This year at school is an open door for new beginnings because I will be afforded the opportunity to step into the classroom of fellow teachers. My goal will be to give small group instruction to enhance our curriculum in reading and math. We will incorporate technology by researching the globe beginning with our own city, thus the title, "Around the World in 80 Days".
