our day

Today at Coldwater Elementary School we discussed our newsleters and service projects (which is making 200 bags for Winn-Dixie). We read 3 chapters of Around the World in 80 days. Some of us took notes of what we thought was happening. Lastly we did our daily stations and now we are heading to our p.e. time. Thank you for reading our blogs. Sincerely, Joshua.l.Ragsdale

Making our friendly letters

Today we made our friendly letters to the person who we are going to send our Flat Stanley to. We had to do the date, greeting, body, closing, and of course our signature. We had so much fun and we all can't wait till we send our Flat Stanleys because we think that's going to be so much fun. Today we decided who we were going to send them to. We are going to send them to Washington D.C! The people who we are sending our Flat Stanleys to seem very exciting. I hope that the people that will get our Flat Stanley will be happy and will want to do lots of things with it.

Flat Stanley Autobiographies

Today, we read some of the book Around the World in 80 Days. Alot of people liked it.
Why do you think the english man doesn't have any family members or friends? What character are you most like? We talked about autobiographies and biographies also diaries and journals.
We then went to stations. The first station we did was writing our dedications and our autobiographies. The second station was researching a continent. We wrote 10 facts and then drew a picture of the continent. The last station was reading more Flat Stanley books. We all had fun today at gifted. I hope you readers had a great day too!
